Liz Easton is the Associate Rector of a large Episcopal parish in Omaha, Nebraska. Having grown up in Seattle, Washington and attended seminary in Berkeley, California, Liz is new to the Great Plains and is enjoying the adventure of living "where the West began."
Liz is interested in all kinds of things but is particularly passionate about the convergence of religion and culture. She earned an MDiv from Church Divinity School of the Pacific in 2009 and a BA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University in 2005.
Outside of her blog, Liz writes poetry and creative nonfiction, mostly about the intersection of the sacred and profane. Her great ambition is to find a way to write good theology in the forms of memoir and essay.
(The opinions expressed in this blog belong to Liz alone and are not necessarily indicative of the Episcopal Church, her diocese or parish.)
